St. Mary’s Art Center’s Traveling Exhibition

St. Mary’s Art Center, fondly called the SMAC Art and Retreat Center, just hit the road with the Dusty Roads Artists’ Trail Traveling Exhibit. First stop on the journey is the Eureka, Nevada Courthouse Gallery where the community rallied for an artists’ reception Thursday October 25th for the six artists featured in the show: Sidne Teske, Carol Brown, Erik Holland, Julie LaCroix, and Francheskaa Clark. These six artists live and or work among the dusty backroads and pinons of rural Nevada. The SMACenter is proud to present the works of such fine artists. The show will be on display in Eureka until the end of November, where it will travel on to Reno’s Wilbur D. May Museum to be on display January through March. The show will complete the tour in Virginia City’s Comstock History Center from March to June. Artists interested in participating in SMACenter’s Dusty Roads Artists’ Trail should contact Linda Nazemian at SMACenter@earthlink.net or call (775) 847-7774.
