St. Mary’s Art Center

St. Mary’s Art Center, fondly called the SMACenter, offers small groups a wonderful opportunity to organize a retreat.  The completely renovated and redecorated historic center is located on 5 acres on the edge of the historic Virginia City. The SMACenter, with 14,000 sq feet provides sleeping for groups of 6 to 30+ with three studios, fifteen sleeping rooms 5 1/2 semi-private baths, two kitchens, a large dining  room and lounge.  Groups interesting in organizing a retreat, family reunion or party can contact the center at (775) 847-7774.

St. Mary’s Art Center, called the SMACenter, has just finished lining up a great series of instructors for the 2008 season. Among those who will teaching this year are: Pam Brekas, Claudia Knous, Al Weber, Betty Carr, Jan Sitts, Diane Maxey, Cynthia Delaney, Dale Laitnen, Diane Stearns, Patty Holly, Francheskka Clark, Chad Hagen, Candace Nicol, Frank Francese, Ron Arthaud, Richard McDaniel, Sandy Imperatori, Deon and Trish Reynolds, Jean LeGassick, Carol Folvary-Anderson, and Erik Holland. Dates are now posted on the website www.smacenter.org and soon descriptions, materials lists, etc will be ready to go. Don’t miss out visiting St. Mary’s Art Center during the 2008 Season.
